TOEM VILAYSOUK

Toem Vilaysouk is an accomplished academic and professional with a strong focus on community development, economics, and finance. She is a lecturer, associate advisor, and research assistant at Savannakhet University, Laos, with extensive experience in education and research. she has been actively involved in several international projects related to financial access, MSME digitalization, and student exchange programs. her skill set includes curriculum development, project management, financial literacy education, and research analysis. Additionally, she has participated in and won awards in various international programs such as the Toyota Incubation Program 2022, Startup Weekend Asean (YSEALI), Cyberjaya, Malaysia 2015 and the ASEAN Foundation’s eMpowering Youths Across ASEAN.
Toem holds a Master of Science in Finance from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Budapest, Hungary, awarded in February 2022. She also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance and Banking from the National University of Laos, Vientiane Capital, Laos, in July 2017.In addition to her academic and professional accomplishments, she has practical experience in credit management through her internship at Lao Development Bank. Her expertise extends to translation, interpretation, proofreading, editing, and comparison, which she applies in her role as a translator and advisor. Her professional language skills enable her to effectively support clients and colleagues, ensuring high-quality communication across various fields, including academic and business contexts.
